Catholic Education Sunday 2022

Sunday, November 6, 2022 marked Catholic Education Sunday with the theme: Walking Together for Catholic Education.

The Catholic Bishops of Alberta and the Northwest Territories were inspired by Micah and chose this year’s theme to express their solidarity and unity in serving our youth.

“We walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. – Micah 4:5.

“On the occasion of Catholic Education Sunday, we, the Bishops of Alberta and the Northwest Territories, wish to recognize with deep gratitude the “workers in the vineyard” of Catholic education. Parents, you are the first and foremost educators of your children. Thank you for your fidelity and for choosing and supporting Catholic education” – Catholic Bishops.
