Governance policies
COMMITMENT
We are committed to fully assume our role of trustees of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Our role is to make sure that the School Board is strategically positioned to implement the necessary policies, resources and tools to have the best school governance possible in East-Central Alberta.
GRADUATING STUDENT PROFILE – Policy 4.0
The educational goals of CSCE are based on a shared and ongoing commitment from the parents, the school, the community and the students themselves. We want students to achieve their full potential in the spirit of inclusion and respect and for the general well-being of the Francophone Community of today and tomorrow in East-Central Alberta.
Each student will become:
- Has completed their education.
- Is inventive and creative, can take initiative.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity.
- Is able to adapt to changes and new technologies.
- Values their opinion, their world view, as well as those of others.
- Contributes to the integration of diversity by demonstrating justice, equity and respect.
- Is involved in the community and is conscious of their positive contribution.
- Truly believes that their actions will help the world progress.
- Has a feeling of belonging to their community and feels personally responsible for the fulfillment of their culture.
- Is proud of and promotes their Francophone culture and enhances its vitality and reputation in their own way.
