A NEW PRINCIPAL FOR ÉCOLE BEAUSÉJOUR
Saint-Paul, June 24, 2020 –– Conseil scolaire Centre-Est announces the appointment of Étienne Vaillancourt as Principal of École Beauséjour. Mr. Vaillancourt has been teaching at Beauséjour since 2001.
Mr. Vaillancourt began his career at École Beauséjour as a math teacher after obtaining a Baccalauréat en enseignement au secondaire from the University of Sherbrooke. He is currently in the process of completing a Masters in Secondary Education while completing the necessary courses for the Certificate in School Leadership.
Over time, Mr. Vaillancourt has been involved in several dimensions of community life in Plamondon and he also became involved in various francophone sports activities at regional and provincial levels. He was recognized for his commitment, his energy and his enthusiasm by the Fédération du sport francophone de l’Alberta which awarded him the “Ambassadeur sportif 2020” Award.
A visionary teacher, Mr. Vaillancourt intends to put all of his experience, knowledge and skills to good use as he takes on his responsibilities as director of Beauséjour. Superintendent Dolorèse Nolette is delighted to welcome Etienne to the CSCE leadership team.
