ELIGIBILITY
A student is eligible for instruction in French if he/she meets at least one of the following criteria:
1. Child of a parent whose first language learned and still understood is French.
2. Child of a parent who received his/her primary school instruction in Canada is French.
3. Child whose sibling has received or is receiving primary or secondary school instruction in Canada in a French first language school.
EXCEPTIONAL ELIGIBILITY (ACCORDING TO BOARD POLICY)
A student may be admitted according to the following categories.

- Parents/grand-parents who have Francophone roots and want to reintegrate French identity and culture into their children’s lives.
- Parents who want their children to maintain their French language skills, identity and culture (i.e. Francophone immigrants or permanent residents).
- Children enrolled in French immersion program that has been abolished in the community where there is a francophone school within the Conseil scolaire Centre-Est school jurisdiction.
Pre-school and kindergarten admission
Pre-school: your child must be 4 years old by December 31 of the current year.
Kindergarten: your child must be 5 years old by December 31 of the current year.
Daycare 3 years old (pre-morning and pm daycare): be 3 years old before December 31 of the current year, be potty trained and functional in a small group.
Form
Only the parent / guardian / guardian of the student or child may register on the form.
School fees
Consult the Conseil scolaire Centre-Est’s school Web pages for the school fees that apply. Please note that the Centre-Est offers free transportation to its families.
Online Payment – School Cash
Our schools now offer the School Cash Online option which allows you to pay online for school activities such as field trips, club dues, gym fees and promotional clothing.
