PRESS RELEASE | CONSEIL SCOLAIRE CENTRE-EST APPOINTS ACTING SUPERINTENDENT

Press Release

Saint Paul, October 30th, 2018 – The Conseil scolaire Centre-Est has appointed Henri Lemire as Acting Superintendent, in the absence of Superintendent Marc Dumont. Mr. Lemire will assume his new position on October 30th, 2018.

Mr. Lemire has held a number of influential positions within Alberta’s French-speaking community, notably as Superintendent at the Conseil Scolaire Centre-Nord for 20 years. Prior to his arrival at the CSCN, Mr. Lemire made his mark early on in his career in the community of Bonnyville; first as teacher and vice-principal, then as Deputy Superintendent of the Lakeland Catholic School Board.

Capable and dedicated, the Board of Trustees is confident that Mr. Lemire will carry out his new duties with as much skill and energy as he did in his previous positions. His vast work experience, familiarity working with French-language communities in a minority setting, and expertise have cemented Mr. Lemire as the Board’s choice for the position of Acting Superintendent.
