ELIGIBILITY<\/h2>\n

A student is eligible for instruction in French if he\/she meets at least one<\/u> of the following criteria:<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Child of a parent whose first language learned and still understood is French.
\n2. Child of a parent who received his\/her primary school instruction in Canada is French.
\n3. Child whose sibling has received or is receiving primary or secondary school instruction in Canada in a French first language school.<\/p>\n

EXCEPTIONAL ELIGIBILITY (ACCORDING TO BOARD POLICY)
\n<\/b>A student may be admitted according to the following categories.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n
      \n
    • Parents\/grand-parents who have Francophone roots and want to reintegrate French identity and culture into their children\u2019s lives.<\/li>\n
    • Parents who want their children to maintain their French language skills, identity and culture (i.e. Francophone immigrants or permanent residents).<\/li>\n
    • Children enrolled in French immersion program that has been abolished in the community where there is a francophone school within the Conseil scolaire Centre-Est school jurisdiction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Pre-school and kindergarten admission<\/h2>\n

      Pre-school:<\/strong> your child must be 4 years old by December 31 of the current year.
      \nKindergarten:<\/strong> your child must be 5 years old by December 31 of the current year.
      \nDaycare\u00a03 years old (pre-morning and pm daycare):<\/strong> be 3 years old before December 31 of the current year, be potty trained and functional in a small group.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

      Form<\/h2>\n

      Only the parent \/ guardian \/ guardian of the student or child may register on the form.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

      School fees<\/h2>\n

      Consult the Conseil scolaire Centre-Est’s school Web pages for the school fees that apply. Please note that the Centre-Est offers free transportation to its families.<\/p>\n

      Online Payment – School Cash<\/h2>\n
